If there were 100 of me maybe I could get all that I need done lol!!! Building my inventory, setting up classes, filling orders and finishing my website. What a blessing to be so busy with what I love.

Well it's a new year and time to stay busy!!! Finishing my sewing room. Finishing orders. I am a busy lady. But I am determined to make this a great year like last year.

Wow the end of August already! It's not too early to think about holiday shopping. A nice handcrafted doll. A wonderful piece of jewelry. How about hosting a dollmaking class? What a wonderful gift for all ages. And boys too! Something for all!

I'm back!!!

Well I don't have a computer. Haven't had one since November. But God is good lots of wonderful things have happened. But I'm back.

Well sadly I'm back to dollmaking part-time sigh.... But I got a wonderful job with a wonderful boss!! So I am very grateful. Just have to get my strength to make dolls! Well preparing for Art-Is and planning to have a  good time.

Happy Dolling Today

1Today was the first time teaching little ladies how to make dolls. It was so successful! But exhausting lol! Was thinking about doll camp but thinking again lol.  Could I do that for a week? I don't know. Wow! I have learned a lot. I have always worked with children but without good assistance you are a lame duck in the water. Kudos to my assistants.

Yeah the Wall Street Bull project is over!! Now back to my first love.  First stop dollmaking class for children at 2163 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City Church of  the Nazarene.  Ages 5 to 12. Next stop July 7 my birthday holiday party. Artfest this Friday at Creative Grove in Jersey City, NJ. Come and see me!

May is here and I missed posting for April (sad face).  On a job assignment but will forever be in love with my dolls!

Well working a cross the street from the Bull has put me in the company of many wonderful people! Lily! John! Betty! And the big boss Kimberly!!!!! I would love to be home finishing dolls at this point but I am working on a project in the nursing field. But I don't stop dreaming about my babies. Note to self learn how to manage both!

Well I have a temp assignment on Wall Street!! More funds to buy more doll stuff lol!!!! Fix up my studio better than before and other goodies!!! Grateful for the assignment. Only thing is dog tired and can't get dollmaking done (waaah! LOL!) But it will be worth it in the end. Just make me work harder. I work with 2 wonderful people Lily and John!!!! We are family! LOL!!!I just have to work twice as hard. How do we persevere when these obstacles get in the way? If you truly love what you do you will find a way!

I have 65 dolls that I have sewn or put together that need to be finished. 65! I am trying to avoid creating something new, but of course I made a new doll pattern lol!! Okay so 5 rag dolls need to be dressed. All of those dresses are done. Sew them up and dress the little girls. (I have to make some little boys too lol). Goal to finish dresses by sundown. Then I will start on some whimsical dolls. That's 10 dolls that I am preparing for a show next weekend. Whew! 10 down 55 to go. Really, I don't think I'm going to make it lol!!! Especially with other projects whirling around in my head. You know what would be great? You think of a doll or project and then bam! It appears already prepared lol! I can dream can't I. Oh well back to sewing.
